Unfortunately, only guide and assistance dogs are permitted at the park. This is for the health and safety of all animals at the park including your dog, as well as the many young children who roam the park. Owners of guide/assistance dogs must bring along relevant paperwork or letter as proof of requirement.
  • Do you have wheelchairs available for hire?
Yes, we have a couple of wheelchairs available on a first-come-first-served basis with a deposit of £10.
  • Is it safe for pregnant women to visit?
Generally, we have never had a problem in regards to pregnant visitors and contamination, however it is always smart to be aware of the risks. Extra care is needed if you are visiting the park around lambing season (January – April), if you are interacting with sheep or goats who have recently given birth, or with any newborn lambs or kids. Please be assured however, that any of our animals who are giving birth are in a special pen, away from the main park, and that newborn babies are not introduced to our visitors until several weeks after their birth. For optimal hygiene and safety, make sure that you and your whole party wash your hands consistently throughout the day, especially if any sheep or goats are touched. We would advise pregnant women to use the feeding mechanisms provided if they wish to feed the animals.
  • Are you hiring?
You can check for vacancies by visiting www.headsofayrtickets.co.uk/vacancies. All our job vacancies will be posted there along with an online application form.
  • The website isn't letting me book, am I doing something wrong?"
If you are unable to book on the website, I'm afraid it means that we are sold out on the day that you are trying to book for. Please select a different date. The website will generally say 'Registration is closed' when all the tickets are gone, but sometimes there may be a single adult/child/concession ticket left over and the closed message will not appear. If you are unable to book tickets for your full party, there will not be enough tickets available and we would advise selecting a different date.
  • I have gift vouchers, corporate tickets or a season pass. How do I book?"
We have set aside a number of spaces for visitors already with tickets every day. Please give us a call on the morning of/the day before your visit on 01292 441210 to let us know when you will be visiting so that we can add your name to the guest list. If you do not give us a call in advance, we may be unable to guarantee your entry due to the visitor number restrictions in place.
  • I have my tickets, what time should I arrive?"
Visitors can arrive anytime between 10am - 4pm. The park closes at 5pm. We are not currently operating with time slots, which means you can stay at the park for as long as you like. Our admissions desk is the busiest between 10:30am - 12:00pm.
  • I'm unable to attend on the date that I booked. Can I change it?
We are able to change the date on your tickets depending on the availability of the date you wish to change it to. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we are only able to change the date on your tickets once. Please call the office to check availability on 01292 441210.

  • I don't have a printer, can I show the tickets on my phone?"

You can feed the farm animals including horses, sheep, goats, and donkeys. There will be signs around the park at the enclosures advising you what animals not to feed.
